About Me

I’m a Black therapist based in Los Angeles, and I view therapy as a collaborative space where we work together to promote healing, growth, and a deeper understanding of the self. My goal is to create a safe and affirming environment where clients can honestly explore their experiences with support.

I’m passionate about working with communities of color, whether that includes children, teens, adults, or families, offering culturally responsive care that honors both identity and lived experiences. I specialize in supporting clients dealing with anxiety, depression, complex trauma, life transitions, mood and personality disorders, and chronic illness. I also assist individuals navigating religious trauma, family dynamics, and identity development, particularly among teens and young adults.

A key focus of my work is treating eating disorders in marginalized communities, where these issues frequently go unrecognized. I’m committed to increasing access to care that addresses the intersections of body image, culture, and systemic oppression.

My style is holistic, strength-based, and rooted in cultural humility. I utilize an integrative approach drawing from Narrative Therapy, ACT, CBT, DBT, and somatic practices—to meet clients where they are, with empathy, curiosity, and just the right amount of humor.
