Associate Professional Clinical Counselor #19721 (Supervised by Isabella Laughlin, LMFT #125604 ATR-BC, CEDS)
As an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor, I have combined my personal life experience with my background as an elementary teacher to support clients of all ages. Using a person-centered approach, I create a trusting, collaborative relationship that promotes connection and healing.
I am drawn to working with those in grief due to my personal loss of a sibling and a parent. My passion lies in helping others, especially those experiencing traumatic loss, which led me to pursue crisis intervention training. Finding meaning after loss can be a long, complex process and my goal is to guide clients in understanding that grief is about connection, not closure.
Grief does not always revolve around a death. There are many losses that we face that affect our daily lives, including dissolving a marriage, losing a job, and supporting elderly parents. As your counselor, I will meet you where you are, and walk alongside you in your journey.
