Associate Marriage & Family Therapist #158083 (Supervised by Isabella Laughlin, LMFT #125604 ATR-BC, CEDS)
I’ve been in that chair too, and I understand firsthand how scary these first steps can be. Whether you’re a teen exploring identity, a young adult facing life transitions, or a family working on repair, I offer a space where you can breathe, be seen, and explore what healing looks like for you. I believe in meeting clients where they are and understand that everyone’s readiness for change looks different.
As a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and a queer clinician specializing in working with teens and young adults, I support clients navigating transitions, identity, relationships, and trauma. I approach therapy relationally and collaboratively. Everyone deserves to feel affirmed, empowered, and receive culturally competent care. My clinical experience includes supporting clients with gender dysphoria, eating disorders, high-acuity presentations, trauma, sexual assault, and domestic violence.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in behavioral health across adolescent and adult residential treatment centers and inpatient psychiatric settings. These experiences shaped my understanding of crisis stabilization, high-conflict family dynamics, and the systemic forces that impact mental health. As a gay teen who faced bullying and anxiety growing up in the South Bay, I bring both professional training and empathy rooted in lived experience. I also have a special focus on supporting loved ones of those living with thought disorders and severe mental illness; a population close to my heart through both personal and professional experience.
It can be hard to find support that honors both your relationship with your body and your identity as an LGBTQ2PIA+ person. I strive to offer care that understands how those parts of you are deeply connected, and worthy of compassion. If you’re seeking gender-affirming care, I can also provide letters of support as part of our work together, offering guidance in a process that can often feel overwhelming.
I welcome humor, cultural nuance, and the messiness of being real. If you’re ready to begin, or begin again, I’m here.
